Bhubaneswar: Khordha district administration has rescheduled school timings from 6:30 am to 10:30 am due to the prevailing heat wave.
The morning classes will be held from June 19 to June 25. The order applies to all classes from Sishu Vatika to Class 12. School authorities have been directed to arrange ORS and drinking water for students to tackle dehydration. The decision was taken by the district administration to ensure student safety amid rising temperatures.
Meanwhile, in Puri district, all schools will remain closed till June 20. Schools will reopen on June 22. The district administration decided to keep schools shut due to the severe heat condition.
