Senior Journalist Sarat Dash Passes Away

Bhubaneswar: Senior journalist Sarat Dash passed away on Friday while undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.

He was a well-known and respected figure in Odisha’s media fraternity. Dash served as the Odisha Bureau Chief of the Press Trust of India (PTI) for many years, earning recognition for his credible and impactful reporting.

He made a significant contribution to English and national-level journalism in Odisha, mentoring several young reporters during his career.

Colleagues and media professionals across the state have expressed deep grief over his demise, recalling his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to journalism.
