Bhubaneswar: Parmeshwar Funkwal, General Manager of East Coast Railway, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Titlagarh-Muniguda section on Wednesday.
The inspection focused on reviewing safety measures, traffic facilities, passenger amenities, and ongoing infrastructure works at several stations along the route.
Funkwal thoroughly assessed the status of traffic facility works, passenger amenities, and infrastructure development projects at key stations. He stressed the need to ensure safe and smooth train operations and directed officials to take all necessary precautions.
The GM also reviewed progress of ongoing projects to enhance passenger facilities, including upgrades to parking areas, circulating areas, and landscaping at stations. Special attention was given to station redevelopment works under the Amrit Station Scheme, aimed at improving passenger experience across the network.
He emphasized timely completion of these critical projects, noting their significance in improving overall service quality for passengers.
Subash C Chaudhary, Divisional Railway Manager, Sambalpur, along with other senior railway officials, were present during the inspection and discussed project timelines and safety measures.
