Rahul Gandhi Is A ‘Part-Time Politician’: BJP Chief Nitin Nabin

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Monday called Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi a part-time politician and said that every BJP worker is a full-time politician.

Addressing booth presidents of the BJP and party office-bearers in united Warangal district, he said that if anyone works tirelessly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it is the BJP karyakarta.

He said it was because of the tireless efforts and commitment of BJP karyakartas that the BJP has become the world’s largest political party.

Targeting the Congress party, the BJP chief remarked that the BJP’s identity is not that of dynasts. “We believe in nationalism. We do not believe in appeasement; we believe in Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas… We do not believe in vote-bank politics; we believe in the politics of development,” he said.

He alleged that the Congress government in Telangana is concerned only about its own family.

“The present state government had promised to provide two lakh jobs. Instead, it has become an ATM for its party’s leadership in Delhi,” he said.

Alleging that the dreams of the people of Telangana have been lost in the quagmire of family-based parties, he claimed that the BJP is committed to fulfilling those dreams.

“The BJP is a party that attains power through service. Power, for us, is a means of public service. Therefore, in Telangana too, we must bloom the lotus at every booth and set Telangana on the path of development.”

Nitin Nabin stated that the dream that the people of Telangana once envisioned can truly be fulfilled under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He urged every BJP booth karyakarta from Warangal to take a pledge to build a Viksit Warangal.

“Today, I have come to assure the youth, farmers, and women of Telangana that the BJP government, under the leadership of PM Modi, works for you and works for the people. In the coming times, standing with your struggles, the BJP will form a double-engine government here and fulfill every dream of the people of Telangana,” he said.

He accused the Congress party of failing to accord former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao the respect he deserved. It was PM Modi who conferred upon him India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna.

He claimed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has today gained a new identity worldwide and is continuously progressing across all sectors of development.

He stated that over the last 12 years under the leadership of PM Modi, no one has dared to cast an evil eye on India. “Today, India believes in responding firmly through measures such as surgical strikes and air strikes. Through Operation Sindoor, India responded to Pakistan’s terrorism to protect the dignity and lives of its people. Internal security has been significantly strengthened, and our government has worked decisively to eliminate the problem of Naxalism.”

Earlier, interacting with tribal leaders at Hanamkonda, the BJP president stated that PM Modi is working to ensure respect and rights for the tribal society.

He stated that the government has increased the budget for tribal development and has taken many steps such as the PM Janman scheme, Eklavya Model Schools, tribal museums, and expansion of basic facilities.

While reiterating the BJP’s commitment to effective action against Naxalism, the preservation of cultural heritage, and the development of tribal areas, including Telangana, he expressed the resolve of Viksit Bharat and Viksit Telangana.

He told the tribal leaders that the nation witnessed a historic moment with the election of a woman from the tribal community, whose life has been a symbol of struggle, as the President of India.

In the form of Droupadi Murmu, the country has a President who not only represents the nation and society but also sends a powerful message to the world that India bows in deep respect to the struggles, contributions, and dignity of its tribal brothers and sisters, he added.
