Bhubaneswar: Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling Proposes AIIA in Odisha During Delhi VisitNew Delhi: Odisha Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling met Union Minister of State for AYUSH Prataprao Jadhav in Delhi during his official visit.
The minister formally proposed the establishment of an All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in Odisha under the Challenge Method.
Sharing details of the meeting, Mahaling said the premier Centre of Excellence will decisively strengthen advanced care, research, and medical tourism.
He added that it will transform the AYUSH ecosystem in the region while bridging a critical healthcare gap across Eastern and Central India. The proposal was submitted to the Ayush Ministry during the meeting.
