Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance has launched simultaneous searches at four locations linked to Rabindra Kumar Nayak, Forest Ranger of Kendrapada Forest Range, on allegations of possessing disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income.
The raids, which began today, are being conducted under the supervision of five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), nine Inspectors, five Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and other supporting staff. The searches are being carried out on the basis of warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge, Cuttack.
Locations being searched are:
- Four-storied residential building of Rabindra Kumar Nayak at Munduli, Godisahi, under Baranga Police Station, Cuttack district.
- Parental house at Sahadapada, under Banki Police Station, Cuttack district.
- Office chamber of the Forest Ranger in Kendrapada.
- Temporary residence of Nayak in Kendrapada.
Searches are currently underway at all four locations. A detailed report is expected once the operations conclude.
