Bhadrak: In view of the prevailing situation caused by continuous rainfall in Bhadrak district, the district administration has declared a holiday for all government, government-aided and private schools on Wednesday, July 15.
The decision was taken by the District Collector, who directed that educational institutions remain closed as a precautionary measure, giving top priority to the safety of students amid persistent rainfall and waterlogging in several areas of the district.
According to the official order, the holiday will apply to all government, government-aided and private schools across Bhadrak district. The administration said the move was aimed at preventing any inconvenience or risk to students due to the adverse weather conditions.
The district administration has appealed to parents, teachers and school authorities to strictly comply with the order and remain vigilant in view of the ongoing rain-related situation. It also urged residents to exercise caution and follow official advisories until weather conditions improve.
