Bhubaneswar: Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Arabinda Kumar Padhee, called on Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati at Lok Bhavan, Puri, on Wednesday and formally invited him to attend the annual Rath Yatra.
During the meeting, Padhee briefed the Governor on the elaborate preparations made by the temple administration for the smooth, safe and orderly conduct of the world-famous festival.
He apprised the Governor of the comprehensive arrangements put in place to facilitate the movement, safety and convenience of the lakhs of devotees and visitors expected from across the country and abroad to witness the sacred chariot festival of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.
The Governor appreciated the extensive preparations made by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration and expressed confidence that the festival would be conducted smoothly. He also conveyed his best wishes for the successful and peaceful celebration of the Rath Yatra.
