Bhubaneswar: Senior BJD leader and former minister Prafulla Samal has been admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar after falling ill.
According to his close relatives, his health condition is stated to be critical.Reports said Samal complained of chest pain in the morning and was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
After receiving news of his illness on Friday, several senior BJD leaders visited the hospital to inquire about his health and wished him a speedy recovery.
Leader of Opposition and BJD President Naveen Patnaik, along with many BJD leaders from Bhadrak, also wished Samal a speedy recovery. Doctors are monitoring his condition.
