Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has announced that public entry through the Singhadwara, or Lion’s Gate, of Shree Gundicha Temple will remain closed from 6:00 pm today in view of Sandhya Darshan and Bahuda Yatra preparations.
According to the notification issued by SJTA, the closure is necessitated to facilitate the Shodha of Shree Gundicha Temple and other important rituals to be performed ahead of Bahuda Yatra. During this period, key ceremonial rituals will be conducted inside the temple premises. Devotees have been requested to cooperate with temple administration to ensure the smooth conduct of the rituals.
The SJTA has also expressed gratitude to all Sevayats for their cooperation and coordination during the preparations. Devotees visiting Puri are advised to plan their darshan accordingly.
