Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and discussed a range of issues concerning the state’s development, including internal security, law and order, and the cooperative sector.
Describing the meeting as a courtesy call, the Chief Minister said the discussions were productive and focused on strengthening internal security mechanisms, improving the law and order situation, expanding the cooperative sector, and accelerating Odisha’s overall development.
In a post on social media platform X, Majhi said he and the Union Home Minister deliberated on measures to further strengthen cooperation between the Centre and the state in these key areas.
The Chief Minister also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to building a prosperous and empowered Odisha with the continued support of the Union Government.
