Murshidabad Biker-Content Creator Dies In Road Accident While Returning From Kolkata

Kolkata: A Murshidabad-based biker and social media content creator in West Bengal, popularly known as ‘Suman Rider’, was killed in a road accident while returning home from Kolkata, police said on Saturday.

According to police, bike riding was the passion of Suman. Initial investigation revealed that he lost control while he was on his way back from Kolkata to Murshidabad district and met with an accident.

According to police, Suman, son of Salam Sheikh, was a resident of Benidaspur village under Daulatabad police station area in Murshidabad district. He was very popular with his followers on social media as ‘Suman Rider’.

Police said he had gone to Kolkata for some content creation work. He was returning home on his bike late on Thursday night after finishing the work when he met with an accident near the Krishnanagar police station area of the Nadia district.

According to eyewitnesses, the young bike rider suddenly lost control as he was riding at a very high speed and fell off the bike, due to which he suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to a hospital by locals. However, doctors declared him brought dead.

In the initial investigation, the police estimated that Suman died on the spot. The body of the young driver has been sent for autopsy. His family members have been informed about the tragic incident.

Just last month, bike rider Debahuti Banerjee from Dhakuria in South Kolkata also died in an accident. Debahuti met with an accident on the national highway in the Balihati area of the Kharagpur local police station area in West Midnapore district.

A total of 15 people had gone to Chandipur in Odisha riding on eight bikes from Kolkata. On the way back from Odisha with the bikes, Debahuti’s bike wheel fell into a pothole near Kharagpur. Due to the high speed, Debahuti lost control and fell off the road and died in the hospital.
