Bhubaneswar: A patient died after allegedly jumping from the fourth floor of a private hospital in Rourkela city on Thursday night.
As per reports, the patient was being treated at the hospital for injuries sustained in a road accident. The reason for the patient taking the extreme step has not been ascertained.
Upon being informed, police reached the hospital and launched an investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, the death inside the hospital has triggered serious concerns over patient safety and security measures.
