Bengaluru: More than 1.07 crore electors, or 19.48 per cent of Karnataka’s total electorate, have been marked under the ASDDO category, Already Shifted, Dead, Duplicate or Otherwise, as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, according to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Karnataka.

As many as 1,07,96,415 electors have been categorised as ASDDO, while 4,46,35,899 electors, or 80.52 per cent, have had their Enumeration Forms (EFs) digitised.

According to the latest data, Karnataka had 5,54,32,314 electors as on June 16, 2026. The house to house enumeration and digitisation exercise was conducted from June 30 to August 17.

Of the electors marked under ASDDO, 65,45,721, or 11.81 per cent of the total electorate, have been categorised as permanently shifted. Another 16,39,871 electors, or 2.96 per cent, have been marked as deceased.

A total of 15,17,056 electors, accounting for 2.74 per cent, have been categorised as untraceable or absent. As many as 7,09,875 electors, or 1.28 per cent, have been marked as already enrolled, while 3,83,892 electors, or 0.69 per cent, fall under the “Others” category.

The CEO office said it printed and distributed all 5,54,32,314 Enumeration Forms to Booth Level Officers (BLOs), achieving 100 per cent coverage.

The digitisation status also includes the ASDDO marked electors, taking the total EFs digitised under the exercise to 5,54,32,314, or 100 per cent.

Meanwhile, 7,13,077 electors, or 1.29 per cent, have submitted their Enumeration Forms online.

The CEO office said it has provided the list of electors marked ASDDO to political parties, and it is also available with BLOs for verification.

Electors who believe they have been wrongly marked under the ASDDO category can seek rollback of their Enumeration Form through the concerned BLO or Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), the office said.

The CEO’s office also said the list of ASDDO (UEF) electors under SIR 2026 is available on its official website.

For the BBMP/GBA areas, around 10 lakh Form 6 applications have been printed and distributed to the concerned EROs for people who wish to apply for inclusion in the electoral roll.
