Bhubaneswar: Yellow warning issued for rain, thunder and lightning in Kataka, including Kataka city, and Khordha, including Bhubaneswar city, are likely to witness light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places during the next three hours, the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar said in a Yellow Message issued on Monday.
The nowcast warning was issued at 4.20 pm on August 24, advising people in the two districts to remain alert to changing weather conditions and plan their activities accordingly.
The weather office urged residents to keep a watch on the weather for any deterioration in conditions and take necessary precautions for their safety.
The warning covers Cuttack and Khordha districts, including the urban areas of Kataka and Bhubaneswar.
