Train Services Regulated For Safety Work, Several Trains Cancelled, Short-Terminated

Bhubaneswar: In connection with safety related modernisation work at Kenduapada station for the commissioning of the 3rd line in the Kenduapada–Bhadrak–Cuttack section under Khurda Road Division, East Coast Railway will temporarily regulate certain train services to facilitate the safe and smooth execution of the work.

Accordingly, the following train services will remain cancelled, short-terminated or short-originated on the dates mentioned below:

Cancellation of Train Services

  • 68438 Cuttack– Bhadrak MEMU will remain cancelled from 29th to 30th August 2026.
  • 68437 Bhadrak –Cuttack MEMU will remain cancelled from 29th to 30th August 2026.

Short-Termination/Short-Origination of Train Services

  • 68424 Cuttack– Bhadrak MEMU will be short-terminated at Jajpur Keonjhar Road from 29th to 30th August 2026.
  • 68423 Bhadrak –Cuttack MEMU will be short-originated from Jajpur Keonjhar Road (JJKR) from 29th to 30th August 2026.
  • 18037 Kharagpur–Jajpur Keonjhar Road Express will be short-terminated at Bhadrak from 27th to 29th August 2026.
  • 18038 Jajpur Keonjhar Road–Kharagpur Express will be short-originated from Bhadrak from 28th to 30th August 2026.
  • 18021 Kharagpur–Khurda Road Express will be short-terminated at Bhadrak from 27th to 30th August 2026.
  • 18022 Khurda Road–Kharagpur Express will be short-originated from Bhadrak from 27th to 30th August 2026.

Passengers are advised to take note of these changes while planning their journeys. For the latest train related updates, passengers may visit the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or check the official Indian Railways website before commencing their journey.
