Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre of Bhubaneswar has issued a nowcast warning predicting light to moderate rain with thunderstorm and lightning at a few places over eight districts, including Khordha and Kataka, during the next three hours.
According to the nowcast warning issued at 10:10am, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Khordha (including Bhubaneswar City), Kataka (including Kataka City), Baleshwar, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Puri and Kendrapada during the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
