Bhubaneswar: Search operation resumed on Tuesday morning to trace a youth who allegedly jumped into the river from Tankapani Bridge in Bhubaneswar last night and went missing.
The missing youth has been identified as Sanjay Swain, a resident of Harchandi Sahi in Old Town in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, Sanjay parked his vehicle on the bridge and left behind his mobile phone, slippers and auto-rickshaw before jumping into the bridge.
On being informed, Fire Services personnel from Balianta launched a search operation to trace him. However, the operation had to be called off on Monday night due to darkness.The Fire Services team resumed the search in the early hours of Tuesday. The search was still underway till last reports came in.
