Bhubaneswar: In yet another tragic incident involving under-construction toilet tank, three persons died due to suffocation while opening centring of the toilet tank.
The incident took place in Padmapur area of Rayagada district. Three residents of Jiba Jagatpur village died in Tarpaguda village of Guluguda panchayat.
According to reports, workers were opening centring in an under-construction toilet in Tarpaguda village today. At this time, centring fell on them. They were unconscious inside toilet tank.
With help of locals, fire brigade and police rescued seriously injured workers. They were admitted to a local hospital. However, doctor declared three of them dead at hospital.
Police have registered a case regarding this unfortunate incident. Further investigation into incident is underway.
