Kendrapada: Around 20 to 25 passengers were injured after a bus skidded off the road near Kakharuni Chhak in Pattamundai area of Kendrapara district on Wednesday, police said.
The passenger bus was travelling from Kataka to Rajanagar Rangani when the driver reportedly lost control, causing the vehicle to skid off the road and plunge into the roadside area.
Around 50 passengers were on board the bus at the time of the accident. The injured passengers were rescued and rushed to the Pattamundai Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment. Further details on the condition of the injured were awaited.
