Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo on Wednesday attended the closing evening of the 32nd Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Award Festival at Rabindra Mandap here, joining artists and cultural enthusiasts in celebrating the legacy of the legendary Odissi exponent.
Ekamra-Bhubaneswar MLA Babu Singh was also present at the concluding programme.
In a post on X, Singh Deo paid tribute to Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, describing him as a great practitioner of Odissi dance and classical music. He also extended his best wishes to the award-winning artists for their contribution towards carrying forward India’s rich cultural traditions.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the festival celebrated the timeless legacy of Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and noted that his vision continues to inspire generations. He added that Odisha’s rich heritage shines when tradition and talent come together on a common platform.
