Timeline For Phase-II Admission Into Integrated Teacher Education Programme Announced

Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department, Odisha has announced the timeline for Phase-II admission into 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the Academic Session 2026-27 under SAMS.

As per the notification, the online Common Application Form (CAF) will be available on the SAMS ITEP portal – https://degree.samsodisha.gov.in/ITEP/index.aspx from 1 PM on September 10. The last date for applying online is September 20 (11:45 PM). Editing of CAF can be done till the last date of submission.

Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must have appeared in the National Common Entrance Test (NCET)-2026 and must possess a valid scorecard.

  1. b) The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent in any stream from a recognized Board/University.
  2. c) Must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in +2 examination.
  3. d) All applicants, irrespective of their status in Phase-I admission process, whether applied or not, selected or not, admitted or not, shall be eligible to apply for Phase-II.
  4. e) Applicants from Odisha as well as other States/UTs are eligible. However, preference will be given to Odisha applicants. Applicants from other states will be considered only after all eligible Odisha applicants have been considered and if seats remain vacant.
  5. f) Applicants who have not studied Odia as MIL at HSC/10th level or as a subject at +2 level, or have not passed the Odia examination conducted by BSE, Odisha, are also eligible.

However, they must pass the BSE Odisha 10th standard Odia examination during the course period before completion of ITEP.

Timeline:Round-I Selection:

 Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats for first round along with waiting list in ratio of 1:30 against vacancies as on Sept 20 will be done on Sept 24 at 4 PM. Selected applicants have to report at allotted institutions by downloading intimation letter and paying fees from Sept 25 (10 AM) to Sept 28 (5 PM), except holidays. Document verification and data updation by institutions will continue till 11:45 PM on Sept 28.

Spot Selection Round:

Physical reporting of interested waitlisted applicants for submission of CAF and documents at respective HEIs will be held from Sept 29 (10 AM) to Sept 30 (2 PM). A representative with valid ID may be permitted.

Merit list among reported waitlisted applicants will be published on HEI notice board/website on Oct 1 at 2 PM and communicated via phone/SMS. Reporting for validation of documents, final admission and fee collection will be held from Oct 3 (10 AM) to Oct 5 (5 PM), except holidays.

If vacancies remain, reporting of waitlisted applicants will be held from Oct 6 (10 AM) to Oct 7 (5 PM). Admission updation in e-space will be done from Oct 3 to Oct 7 (11:45 PM).For details, contact e-Admission Helpline Toll Free Numbers – 155335 / 1800-345-6770.
