Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has called upon UAE investors to partner with Odisha in the next phase of the state’s industrial development.
Around 400 businessmen, investors and representatives of the UAE business community attended the Odisha Investors Summit-UAE-2026 held in Dubai.
Addressing the summit, the Chief Minister presented Odisha’s natural resources, competitive strengths, ports, industrial infrastructure, skilled human resources and investment-friendly environment before the investors.
Investment opportunities in sectors like LNG storage, green energy, AI data centres, rare earths, ship repair, propellant production, fertilisers and chemicals, housing, steel and downstream industries were discussed at the event. Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain emphasized the government’s policy of Speed, Certainty and Execution and assured investors of government support at every stage of the project.
Senior government officials, Indian diplomatic representatives and prominent UAE industry leaders attended the event.
The Dubai Roadshow has further strengthened Odisha-UAE economic ties and created new opportunities for capital, technology, industry and employment generation in the state, the government said.
