Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has re-engaged retired IAS officer Trilochan Majhi as Officer on Special Duty (OSD)-cum-Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for a period of one year.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department on September 10, Majhi, who retired from government service on superannuation with effect from August 31, 2026, will take up the new assignment with immediate effect.
Prior to his retirement, Majhi served as Additional Secretary to the Government in the Home Department.
The re-engagement has been made for one year, the notification said. The order was issued by Additional Secretary to Government Debasis Singh by order of the Governor.
