Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Home Department on Sunday issued fresh posting orders for 10 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and 127 State Police Service officers, effecting a significant reshuffle in the state police force.
All new assignments are temporary and will remain in force until further orders.
According to the official order, Manish Bhardwaj has been posted as Kotwali Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Indore City. He was earlier serving as Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Cyber Police Headquarters in Bhopal.
Alok Kumar Verma has been appointed Rewa City Superintendent of Police (CSP). He previously held the post of Assistant Superintendent of Police in Dewas.
Vaibhav Priya has been made Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) for Nepanagar in Burhanpur district, moving from Ratlam.
Shubham Singh Thakur has been posted as Gadarwara SDOP in Narsinghpur, shifting from Jabalpur.
Manoj Kumar has taken charge as ACP of MP Nagar in Bhopal City after being transferred from Gwalior.
Among other key changes, Lekhraj Meena has been posted as Sailana SDOP in Ratlam from Chhatarpur, Kajal Singh as Khurai SDOP in Sagar from Ujjain, and Rajiv Agrawal as Kukshi SDOP in Dhar from Rewa.
Deepanshu has been assigned as Manawar SDOP in Dhar, moving from Sagar, while Amit Kumar has been given charge of Singrauli SDOP after his transfer from Khandwa.
The transfer list includes four IPS officers from the 2023 batch and six from the 2024 batch.
In addition to the IPS officers, 127 State Police Service officers of Deputy Superintendent of Police rank and equivalent have also been given new responsibilities across various districts.
These postings cover roles such as Deputy Superintendent of Police, SDOP, City Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner of Police and Assistant Commandant.
Officials described the reshuffle as a routine administrative exercise aimed at strengthening law and order and ensuring efficient functioning of the police department across the state.
The officers have been directed to join their new assignments at the earliest.
