Bhubaneswar: Renowned sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik created a spectacular 25-foot-long sand art installation on Puri Beach on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, celebrating ‘25 Years of Seva to the Nation.
The intricate artwork features a prominent relief of the Prime Minister in a namaste pose against a circular backdrop in the colours of the Indian tricolour. Surrounding the central sculpture are traditional motifs and the powerful message: “Aashirwad Ka Diya – 25 Years of Seva – Happy Birthday Modi Ji.”
Besides, the installation is illuminated with 2,500 diyas, symbolising blessings and the spirit of service.
Sharing the creation on social media, Pattnaik wrote: “On the occasion of the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji. My special sand art at Puri Beach in Odisha, adorned with 2,500 diyas, carries the message: ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya – 25 Years of Seva – Happy Birthday Modi Ji.’ This heartfelt creation conveys my warm wishes and prayers on his birthday.”
The sand sculpture has drawn appreciative crowds at the popular beach, adding a cultural and artistic touch to the nationwide celebrations marking the Prime Minister’s special day.
