Bhubaneswar: SAI International School launched four student-led magazines—SAI Arthashastra, Vistarika, Aitihya and Chakravyuh today in the presence of Tathagat Satpathy, Editor Daily Dharitri & Orissa Post and Ex-Member of Parliament.
Covering economics and sustainability; careers and future readiness; history and heritage; and politics, public policy and global affairs, the publications provide students with a platform to research, write, analyse and engage with real-world issues beyond the classroom.
Speaking at the launch, Satpathy, appreciated the initiative, saying, “A publication is not simply about putting words on paper; it is about learning to observe, question and make sense of what is happening around us. It is encouraging to see students taking that responsibility so early. These magazines give them a wonderful opportunity to develop the habits of research, reflection and expression.”
Dr. Silpi Sahoo, Chairperson, SAI International Education Group, said, “We want our students to be comfortable with curiosity—to ask questions even when there are no easy answers. These magazines are an extension of that philosophy. They allow students to explore subjects deeply, listen to different perspectives and find their own voice through meaningful work.”
The initiative reflects SAI International’s emphasis on research, independent thinking, communication and real-world learning, enabling students to become researchers, writers, thinkers and storytellers.
SAI Arthashastra — Saanvi Ray, Student Editor

“Chakravyuha has taught us that understanding current affairs requires more than simply knowing what happened. We have to read, question, look at different perspectives and form our own understanding. As student editors, that process has made us more aware of the world around us.”
