Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow nowcast warning for light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning and thunder in five districts of Odisha.
According to the alert issued at 11:30 am on September 19, light to moderate rainfall with lightning and thunder is likely at one or two places over Baleshwar, Jagatsinghpur, Balangir, Bargada and Anugola during the next three hours.
People in the affected districts have been advised to keep a close watch on the weather conditions and take necessary precautions for their safety.
