Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for eight Odisha districts predicting light to moderate rain with lightning and thunder in next three hours.
As per the warning issued at 10:15 am on September 21, light to moderate rain with lightning and thunder is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Kataka, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Anugola and Baleshwar during the next three hours.
The Met has issued a yellow warning for these districts and advised people to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
