Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for the capital city Bhubaneswar predicting light to moderate rain with gusty wind in the next three hours.
According to the alert issued at 08:40 am today, light to moderate rain with gusty wind reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at many places over Bhubaneswar city within the next 3 hours.
The IMD has advised residents to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan their activities accordingly for safety. Commuters heading to offices and schools are advised to carry rain gear and allow extra travel time.
The weather office will continue to monitor the situation.
