Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday congratulated the Indian Women’s Cricket Team on winning the Gold Medal at the Asian Games 2026.
Taking to X, the Chief Minister lauded the team’s magnificent triumph and said it exemplifies Nari Shakti.
“Heartiest congratulations to the Indian Women’s Cricket Team on their magnificent Gold Medal triumph at the Asian Games 2026. This is Nari Shakti in action. From ambition to achievement, our daughters have shown that when India’s women rise, they do not just break barriers, they raise the benchmark,” Majhi wrote.
He further said the victory marks a golden moment for the country and will inspire young girls aspiring to shine on the world stage.
