Bhubaneswar: As many as 20 districts of Odisha are likely to witness light to moderate rain, thunder and lightning along with gusty wind speed reaching up to 40 kmph in the next three hours, according to the nowcast warning issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
As per the nowcast warning issued at 10 am today, the districts likely to be affected are Sundargada, Mayurbhanj, Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Malkangiri, Puri, Khordha, Nayagada, Kataka, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Rayagada, Koraput and Kendujhar.
The weather agency has advised people of the affected districts to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan their activities accordingly for their safety.
