Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has issued a fishermen warning for the Odisha coast on Friday.
According to the advisory for Day-1 (25 September 2026), squally weather with wind speeds reaching 40-50 kmph and gusting up to 60 kmph is very likely to prevail along and off the Odisha coast during the next 12 hours.
The sea condition is expected to remain rough to very rough during this period. Fishermen have been strongly advised not to venture into the sea along and off the Odisha coast for the next 12 hours in view of the prevailing weather conditions.
