Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for 11 districts of Odisha predicting light to moderate raint Thunder and lightning in the next three hours.
As per the bulletin issued at 2:20 pm today, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Baragada, Anugola, Dhenkanal, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Baleshwar, Jajpur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Cuttack and Khorda during the next 3 hours.
People in these districts have been advised to keep a watch on the weather conditions and plan their activities accordingly for safety.
The IMD has asked people to stay alert and take precautionary measures during thunderstorm activity.
