Bhubaneswar: OREDA Limited, a Government of Odisha undertaking under the Department of Energy, has paid its first-ever dividend of Rs 1.07 crore to the State Government for the financial year 2024-25.
The dividend cheque was presented to Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment and Energy, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo. Incorporated on May 9, 2024, OREDA Limited earned a net profit of Rs 3.57 crore in its very first financial year.
Declaring and paying a dividend within its first year of incorporation marks a remarkable achievement for the company, reflecting its financial growth and sound financial management.

The dividend cheque was handed over in the presence of Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) Vishal Kumar Dev, FA-cum-Special Secretary Dr. Debidutta Tripathy, OREDA CEO Saidutta Biplab Keshari Pradhan, Additional Secretary Nibedita Mishra, and other senior officials of the department.
