Dhenkanal: Odisha Chief Electoral Officer R S Gopalan today visited Dhenkanal district and conducted a joint inspection of the election materials godown and reviewed the arrangements.
During the visit, Gopalan along with district officers inspected the godown as per prescribed rules and security protocols and reviewed storage and overall management.
On the occasion, the Chief Electoral Officer held discussions with representatives of various recognized political parties regarding storage, security and management of election materials. The party representatives presented their views and suggestions.
Dhenkanal District Collector Ashish Iswar Patil, IAS Probationer Sudha Chauhan, Additional District Collector Ramesh Chandra Sethi, Dhenkanal Sub-Collector Padmacharan Sahu, Deputy Collector Nivedita Rout and other election officials were present.
