Malkangiri: Forest officials rescued an Indian pangolin from the area behind the Rabi Ray premises near MV-53 village under Puspalli Beat of Somnathpur Section in Malkangiri district on Wednesday.
The rescue was carried out following information received from local villagers, according to an official communique.
The rescued pangolin is currently under medical observation and care. Forest officials said it will be released into its natural habitat after being declared fit and healthy, following due procedure.
