Bhubaneswar: Handloom and handicraft products made by women entrepreneurs from Odisha were showcased at the ‘Subhadra Shakti Pop-up Bazaar’ organised by the state’s Mission Shakti Department at FICCI FRAMES 2026 in Mumbai, an official release said.
The two-day pop-up bazaar, held on September 29 and 30, provided a national platform for products crafted by women entrepreneurs associated with Odisha’s Mission Shakti initiative.
FICCI FRAMES, a major industry platform for India’s media and entertainment sector, witnessed the display of a range of Odisha-made handloom and handicraft products, highlighting the traditional craftsmanship, creativity and entrepreneurial capabilities of women from the state, the release said.
Several personalities from the film, entertainment and culinary sectors, including actors Ravi Kishan, Prajakta Koli, Amol Parashar and Rasika Dugal, and chef Ranveer Brar, visited the ‘Subhadra Shakti Pop-up Store’.
The visiting celebrities and other prominent guests were presented with ‘Subhadra Shakti’ gift hampers containing products made by women entrepreneurs from Odisha.
The initiative was aimed at giving Odisha’s women-led enterprises greater visibility in wider markets and creating opportunities for their handmade products to reach consumers beyond the state.
According to the release, the pop-up bazaar also marked a step towards connecting products made by Odisha’s women entrepreneurs with national and international markets and opening up new avenues for market access.
