Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has extended the validity of the Odisha Electric Vehicle Policy, 2021 till December 31, 2026.
The Commerce and Transport Department issued a notification on Saturday, exercising powers under para 11.5 of the Odisha Electric Vehicle Policy, 2021.
The notification, issued by Principal Secretary NBS Rajput, stated that the validity period of the policy has been extended up to December 31, 2026.
The Odisha EV Policy, 2021 was introduced to promote electric mobility and facilitate the adoption of electric vehicles in the state.
