Odisha Announces Phase-III E-Admission For Higher Secondary Schools

Bhubaneswar: The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Odisha, has announced the Phase-III e-Admission process for filling vacant seats in Higher Secondary Schools for the 2026-27 academic session.

As per the admission schedule, the online Common Application Form (CAF) will be available on the SAMS Odisha portal from October 12 at 11 am. Students can submit their applications till November 1 at 11:45 pm.

The third-phase admission will cover students who remained without admission in the earlier phases as well as eligible candidates who could not apply during Phase-I and Phase-II.

The first selection merit list will be released on November 4 at 3 pm. Selected candidates will have to report to their allotted Higher Secondary Schools and complete the admission update process between November 5 at 2 pm and November 10 at 3 pm.

A waiting list will be published through the HSS e-Space login on November 12 at 2 pm. It will be prepared in a 1:10 ratio against the seats remaining vacant after completion of the admission process on November 10.

Physical registration of candidates included in the waiting list will be conducted at the HSS level on November 13 between 10 am and 3 pm. The final merit list of waiting-listed candidates will be published at 4:30 pm the same day, while admission updates will be carried out from 5 pm on November 13 till 9 pm on November 16.

As per the eligibility criteria, applicants must have passed the High School Certificate (HSC) examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, or an equivalent examination conducted by a recognised board.
