Puri: Students of Sudarsan Sand Art Institute in Puri have created a special sand-art animation as a heartfelt tribute to veteran actor Nana Patekar who died last night following severe cardiac arrest.
Students Rashmita Maharana, Sonali Aluk and Monalisa Maharana came together to create the artwork in just 15 minutes, expressing deep respect and admiration for the legendary actor and his extraordinary contribution to Indian cinema.
Through sand-art animation, the students portrayed Nana Patekar’s memorable journey and enduring impact on audiences. Known for his powerful performances, distinctive personality and versatility, Nana Patekar has given Indian cinema numerous unforgettable characters. The tribute is an expression of respect and gratitude from young artists to honour the legacy of the celebrated actor.
“Through this sand-art animation, we pay heartfelt tribute to Nana Patekar Ji. His unforgettable performances and immense contribution to Indian cinema will always remain in hearts of millions. This is our humble artistic salute to a great actor,” the students said.
The students used sand as medium to convey respect, creating a visual tribute that celebrates his life, work and lasting legacy.
