Bhubaneswar: The nomination process for student union elections in universities and colleges under Odisha’s Higher Education Department concluded on Thursday, with the state government monitoring developments to ensure a smooth and transparent electoral process.
The situation across educational institutions in the state was monitored continuously through a state-level control room under the direct supervision of Higher Education Department Commissioner-cum-Secretary Aravind Agrawal, according to an official statement.
The monitoring mechanism has been put in place to oversee the election process and facilitate the orderly conduct of student union polls across the state.
