Bhubaneswar: Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest aluminium producer, participated in ALUMINIUM 2026, one of the world’s leading trade fairs and conferences for the aluminium industry, held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The event provided an opportunity to engage with global customers, industry stakeholders and technology partners to understand evolving market requirements, explore new business opportunities and strengthen international partnerships. The engagement reflects the company’s focus on expanding value-added aluminium offerings, advancing low-carbon solutions and supporting the growing demand for sustainable materials across global markets.

Discussions at the exhibition highlighted the aluminium industry’s evolving priorities amid changing market dynamics. Key themes included supply chain resilience, sustainability, product quality, technological innovation and competitiveness, alongside a growing focus on low-carbon aluminium, reliable supply networks and customised solutions for end-use industries.

Rajesh Kumar, CEO, Vedanta Aluminium, said, “The global aluminium industry is undergoing a significant transformation, driven by growing demand for sustainable materials, resilient supply chains and advanced manufacturing applications. Sustainability emerged as a key focus area at the exhibition, with discussions centred on renewable energy integration, circularity, recycled content and emissions reduction. As customers place increasing emphasis on responsible sourcing and transparency across supply chains, the conversations underscored the growing importance of collaborative approaches to decarbonisation across the aluminium value chain.

Beyond sustainability, the exhibition offered valuable insights into emerging opportunities across automotive electrification, power transmission, renewable energy and other high-growth sectors.
