Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday issued a yellow warning for light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning and thunder at isolated places in 11 districts of Odisha, including Katak and Bhubaneswar, over the next three hours.
The IMD issued the nowcast warning at 4:02 pm, covering Sundaragada, Katak (including Katak city), Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city), Debagada, Mayurbhanj, Baleshwar, Puri, Gajapati, Rayagada, Anugola and Kendujhar districts.
The weather agency advised people to remain alert to changing weather conditions and plan their activities accordingly to ensure their safety.
