Bus Collides With Stationary Truck In Bolangir, 20 Injured

Bhubaneswar: Around 20 people were injured after a passenger bus hit a stationary truck from behind near Gaintala village in Bolangir on Tuesday morning.

According to reports, the passenger bus was en route from Bhubaneswar to Malkangiri when it collided with a Hyva truck parked on the roadside near Gaintala on National Highway 57. More than 20 passengers sustained injuries.

Injured passengers were immediately shifted to the Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital, Bolangir for treatment.

Puintala police officials have started an investigation into the matter and have seized the bus.

More details about the incident are awaited.
