Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic explosion that occurred in Delhi on Sunday evening, claiming the lives of several innocent people. Strongly condemning the incident, the Chief Minister said that India “will never tolerate such inhumane acts.”
Extending condolences to the bereaved families, Majhi said the attack was a grave assault on humanity and reaffirmed his confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the central government will ensure a thorough investigation and bring the culprits to justice.
In the wake of the incident, the Chief Minister held a telephonic discussion with the Director General of Police and directed the state police to implement extensive security measures across Odisha.
With major festivals such as Bali Yatra currently underway, the Chief Minister has instructed police officials to remain on high alert and tighten surveillance in major cities and sensitive locations to ensure public safety.
