Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Sundargarh over the next 24 hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Besides, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Odisha during the same period, the IMD added.
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the aforementioned districts.
Further, the IMD has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower at many places in the districts of Odisha over the next 24 hours.
In Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood, the sky will remain generally cloudy with one or two spells of rain or thundershower. Maximum and Minimum temperature is very likely to be around 34°C and 26°C respectively, the IMD said.
