New Delhi: On the auspicious event of Vijay Dashami or Dussehra, all of India is gripped in celebrations. Celebrities from the film industry are also partaking in the festivities, as Anupam Kher, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Jr. NTR, Sunny Deol Anil Kapoor, and Siddhartha Malhotra among others gave out their best wishes for the occasion.
Jr. NTR wrote on his X handle: “Wishing everyone a Happy Dussehra!!”
Anupam Kher, taking to his Instagram account posted a video of Lord Rama killing Ravana, the demon king, and wrote: “To all of you I wish a very Happy Dusshera! #HappyDussehra to all!”
Vijay Devarakonda shared pictures of the festivities which took place at his home on his X handle and wrote: “Happy family poojas. Happy Dasara to all of you.”
Chiranjeevi posted a beautiful rendition of Adi Parashakti on his X and wrote: “Happy Dussehra to All! May Maa Durga give us the strength to ward off evil! May the festive spirit of Navratri spread cheers and foster goodness around and in our thoughts!!”
Mahesh Babu posted a picture of Lord Ram firing his bow on Instagram which said: “Wish you all a Happy Dussehra!”
Allu Arjun posted a picture on his Instagram and captioned: “Happy Dussehra to each and everyone of you.”
Anil Kapoor took to his Instagram and posted a picture of Lord Ram’s bow which said: “HAPPY DUSSEHRA. On this joyous occasion of Dussehra, may good always triumph over evil in your life.”
Suniel Shetty took to his Instagram account and posted a picture of Lord Ram unleashing his bow. The picture read: “May the light of victory shine again, and bring you an abundance of joy, prosperity, and the strength to overcome life’s challenges. Wishing everyone a very Happy Dussehra.”
Sunny Deol took to his Instagram and shared a folk-art video of Lord Ram’s killing of Raavan. The video read: “Happy Dussehra!” He shared a second story which saw the god firing his bow before it exploded into fireworks. The video read: “Together let us win all obstacles with goodness, patience, kindness. Together we can. Happy Dussehra!.”
Siddharth Malhotra tweeted on his X: “Dussehra reminds us that evil can never extinguish the light of truth. Happy Dussehra.”
Dussehra goes by different names such as Vijaydashami, Dasara, Dashain and more. However, they all mark the same event, the day Lord Ram killed Raavan, the demon king of Lanka, thus establishing the win of Dharma against Adharma.
