Shah Rukh Khan Had Predicted Ranveer Singh's Success Back In 2010. Watch Video

01 March 2019

Bhubaneswar: Believe it or not, Shah Rukh Khan had predicted back in 2010 that Ranveer Singh would one day rule the Bollywood industry. An old video of a 2010 awards ceremony has been doing the rounds in social media in which Ranveer Singh shares the with King Khan after winning the 'Most Promising Newcomer (Male)' for his first film Band Baaja Baaraat’.

After accepting the award from Karan Johar, Singh weepingly says, "i wanted to be an actor ever since I was a kid. Now I am sharing the stage with all these big people. I promise that there is a lot more to come."

When he was leaving the stage, Shah Rukh says- "“Aree tu Kyu Ro Raha Hai. Rona to Hume chahiye. Ab tu aa gaya Hai. Ab Humara kya hoga Industry mein.” (Why are you crying? We should be crying. Now that you are here to provide competition, what’s going to happen to us in the industry?)"

While Ranveer laughed at SRK's comment, little did he know that one day it would all come true as his latest film Gully Boy has raked over Rs 200 crore in the industry. Ranveer then taught SRK and Shahid Kapoor his signature 'Ainvayyi Ainvayyi' before leaving the stage. Watch the video here:
