Bhubaneswar: Popular Chinese video-sharing social networking service TikTok was among 59 applications that were banned by the Indian Government.
The apps were said to be “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, the security of the state and public order.” The Ministry of Information Technology said in a statement made last night.
Now the app gained its popularity from its huge variety of users ranging from a commoner to a celebrity. Here are few of the prominent Bollywood stars who lost their TikTok accounts.
Deepika Padukone
